Secretary's Message

I am grateful to you for your sincere support towards the noble effort of our organization. During the reporting year we have received support from the Directorate of Library Services, HFWS/NRHM for RSBY & Swastha Sathi Govt. of West Bengal & Sitaram Jindal Foundation, New Delhi.

By and large, our activities are dedicated to the socio-economically weaker section of the country focusing on community-based integrated development with the active participation of the community people. Among the development activities, the KSS&L has left the stone unturned in developing the status of distressed people especially for the empowerment of women and children.

Efforts on rights of people and livelihood development, elimination of women’s poverty, the spread of education among non-school going and drop out children, Destitute children, rehabilitation and mainstreaming of women and children, improvement of health status with the emphasis on preventive measures would have further strengthened if the Government, Corporate Sectors, National and international development agencies extended helping hands to the noble mission.

I convey my heartiest thanks to all of you for your constant support for the progress in the activities of the organization.
